Holy water cannot help you now was a fun return to (photoshop) form. The original photo was shot during sunset in the middle of a rural road at the edge of Winnipeg. Because I didn’t have a clear concept formed in my mind, I took photos of my model in a variety of poses. Most of the other photos would make up a pretty satisfying senior’s portrait session (and I’ll post them eventually). But the base photo for Holy Water stood out like a captivating sore thumb. I loved the strong expression and the relatively clean background presented many opportunities for photo manipulation.
